I am new to the car maintanace. i purchased 2005 honda civiv at 64500 miles.
after it is crossing 65k. it showing maintance reqd message. my dealer said he did oil change at 64k..

how do i get rid of that message?

i live in minneapolis area... i purcahed car in 2008 dec. my car paint getting removed slowly... i do not know why it is happend .. car color is tan..

can anybody suggest me why it has happend .. is it usually hapennd?

when i driving my car ......there is hissing kind of sound at wheels ?
do you guys ever have experinced this kinda of problem..

please suggest me on it...

the maintenance required light can be reset by holding the trip reset button before turning the key to start when u start your car. If you have a civic manual it will tell you the same info

the car was probably repainted with cheap maco paint which also means it was most likely in a accident.check your local lemon laws the dealer mite have to pay for a new paint job.and is it a hissing or a light grinding it mite be the rotor if a car sits for awhile they get rusty or they could be warped.

yeah 2005 is way too early for paint to chip off even if it was never washed or waxed.
