Rep Power: 0 Question Reguarding Aem Short Ram Intake
I recently installed an AEM short ram intake within the past 6 months, i've read up and followed cleaning instructions, but i was just wondering if putting the oil on the filter itself even matters ?
when i bought the cleaner made specificly by AEM it said to put oil on the filter
i wasn't sure where to put it or even how much for that matter.
but anyways if anyone can tell me how much to put on & where to apply the oil id appreciate it
thanks.

If you bought it within six months ago then i should have came with the dry flow filter. I got mine last october and i had the dry flow filter with it, and the dry flow filter doesn't need to be oiled or cleaned.

Go to AEM's site, they have videos on their filters and how to clean them depending on what kind you have

yea just get a dryflow paper filter which looks grey/white. that doesnt need oil and you can still clean it. the old cotton ones that are pinkish are terrible and dont filter good enough. and yea if you dont oil it you will have even bigger problems.
