OK, but what I don't get is how come the manual says 13.2 gallons, and if you leave it up to the gas pump sensors, even if the gauge is on E (notwithstanding the 1 or so gallon of reserve in the tank), it can't ever put in more than 10-11 gallons? That leaves about 1 gallon somewhere, and I suspect it's fine to top it off. What irks me is that the venturi mechanism for some dang reason gets tripped up a lot sooner than it ought to...

we do too, but after it gets to a certain point (depending on vehicle) it has a auto cutoff :/ but thats all pumps..

u get 550 miles on a full tank. holy crap batman. Thats crazy numbers.

You have about 3 gallons of gas when it hits E on average. I've driven over 90miles with the E light on. Still had about a gallon of gas left when i refilled. Its just honda's way of being extra cautious and making sure you don't run out of gas.
