My clutch has started to creak really bad to the point where it's all I can hear when I drive..my civic is a 2k1 and it's on it's original clutch.
Is this just a matter of greasing it or should I be looking deeper?

Rep Power: 399 Try greasing 2 things.... the return spring in the car (especially if you hear it real loud) and the ball joint on the fork, which is under the hood, if you look up by the front passenger side corner of the motor where the transmission meets the engine, there's a 1" x 4" or so rubber boot, its got a slit in it, trace the clutch line to it, in there is the fork, there's a steel ball joint in there that seems to get went and corrode, when it does, it squeaks. I've found the ultimate solution to that is go to honda and get some Odyssey sliding door grease (I don't know what its called, but its the Honda grease for the mini-van door) and slobber it all over the joint in there.
