Rep Power: 272 A/C fuel DIY?
Hi,
I remember that my 97 Accord need to be filled with A/C fuel from time to time in order for the A/C to output cold air.
So far I have not seen A/C fuel DIY for our 01-05 Civic. Does any one know how does the whole thing work?
thanks

Rep Power: 0 i have never heard of such a thing, other than on aircrafts. then again, i don't use my a/c at all. i really should just pull it out. it's extra weight i don't need.

Rep Power: 240 You can buy the r134a kits at a lot of places, it comes with a gauge you connect to the lowpressure side of the system, and comes with a can of r134a to fill if yours is low...this is like the kit i use http://www.midwayautosupply.com/deta...ption.asp?4330 you can get
it
but it is not neccessary to fill it like a tank, it is a closed system so the r134a is "recyled" or "recovered" and used again.
