Ok i searched around and couldnt find anything on this topic. My shifter has some play in it on the side-to-side shift arm and im not sure if theres a bushing thats supposed to be in there or if it has always been a little sloppy. its right where the round bar from the lever goes into the side-to-side shift arm (the one on the side) has anyone had this problem and fixed it?

shifter bushings....every Civic I've ever owned needed to have it's shifter bushings replaced at some point. It's a # of small parts not very expensive though.
I'm too lazy to look for 7 gen but this is what it looks like for 6 gen...

There is a little play in that nylon ball also but the new bushings help. When I installed my Revo I ised some spacers as washers from Home Depot to reduce the amount of play.
I think either Corsport or Dezod has the bushing kit.
