Low beams OUT

on my '01. I know there is a TSB out regarding this, but it was (supposedly) fixed.

Is there any other possible easy answer? (Other than busted bulbs.)

Re: Low beams OUT

could be bad headlight harness grounds behind the front bumper on each side. they do get corroded easily from road spray. also could be the fuses or relays for the lo beams.

Re: Low beams OUT

The ground path for the headlight bulbs is made through the headlight switch not outside. The fuses and the relay(s) are common to both high and low beam operation.

Assuming you have working high beams, ? and not 2 bad bulbs...?

Inspect pin 6 RED/WHT at the headkight switch it is the low beam line that gets a ground through the headlight switch to light them.

Not sure if this is what you meant by TSB, but there is a recall out for Civic low beams. Apparently, some part of them can overheat causing some wires to melt...
