Hey!
As the title says. I want to have an aux cable in my 2003 civic hatchback, but ideally I would prefer to not pay for an adapter og a new stereo.
I have a fair bit of experience with working on guitar amplifiers, so I'm not afraid of soldering or anything like that. Does anyone know which points I should solder the aux cable to if it's possible?
If I have to bypass something else to install it, that's fine. I never use the radio for example, but would like to be able to still use the CD player.
Thanks in advance.

I don't think it is possile without some sort of adapter or converter. They make modules that are plug n play.
Easiest solution is an FM transmitter.

I actually managed to do this myself. :-)
After watching this video: , I tore the radio apart and plugged it back without the casing, so that I could poke around with the aux cable to find where I could get sound.
I didn't draw a diagram or anything, so it's not that much help, but if anyone wants to do the same, it was pretty easy by following the instructions in the video.
There's a bit of buzzing between songs and if you pause the sound source, but if you find a quiet radio channel, it's not bad at all.
I'm very happy with the result at least!
