Rep Power: 0 Hello, 95 dx coupe owner.
Getting back into Honda game after a 25 year hiatus. I used to mess w 1st gen Civics but am now modding a 95. It's currently running a y8/b7 mini that makes ok power for 1.5 liters but have built a g23 that I hope to swap in within a few months. I only need mounts, axles, and a few odd and ends to commit to this project. The motor should be bullet proof as I've added Molnar H beam rods to the f23 block and intend on adding valvetrain upgrades to the ported h22 head down the road.. I am hoping for the largest engine in the lightest car, a tried and true formula. Also hoping the car will still handle well in corners w the right spring rates. I'll be running an h22 trans, the ratios of which seem to compare favorably with the d ex trans that's in there now.

Thankyou. I am a bit apprehensive about this swap as the motor is semi-experimental, hence the rod upgrade. Just have to commit to project at this point.

Or I could just mount a seat and wheels to an H22. I still want something that will handle as well as accelerate, and Js are way to complex for something that's just fwd. H/F swaps are still cheap, though realistically a boosted D would be most cost effective.
