"New" 2002 Civic EX Coupe
"New" 2002 Civic EX Coupe
First Honda. Son bought it as his first set of wheels. 180K on the clock with extensive service and maint. history. Body is very good given our area. car runs beautifully. Has some needs. Exhaust noisy, rocking driver seat and a clunk from the front right suspension. Otherwise everything works except the driver side power door lock.
Looking forward to learning how to remedy the issues she has and keep it running as nice as it does now for a long time to come.

Welcome!
Search the forum for the drivers seat rocking fix, I think someone posted a DIY thread about that.

You've definitely come to the right place if you want to learn more about your son's Civic and be able to fix it yourself. So welcome to the forum, that should be a promising and exciting project, good luck!
Re: "New" 2002 Civic EX Coupe
Found the clunk. Front lower control arm bushing is toast. As the son works for NAPA we may just replace the entire lower control arm and not monkey with pressing the bushing out and back in. There's always something to do...
