98' ex d16y8 swap to 99' d16y8
I pulled a d16y8 with a bad bottom end out of my cousin's 1998 ex and put in a 1999 ex d16y8 and ran the 98' harness/ecu and used a distributor jumper since I'm running the 99' distributor that came on the 99' d16y8. Everything lined up/plugged up great, problem now motor cranks over but will not start. Alternator tested good, battery is good, starter is good, new spark plugs what am I missing? Should I have run the 99' harness and ecu instead?
