Hello!! Just purchased my 2001 Civic EX! I bought this car mainly for commuting to and from school, work, girlfriends...AND the gas mileage!
I am the second owner... I purchased the car from the bestfriend of my family auto tech... He's like a brother-in-law... Anyway, we spent two-and-a-half days rebuilding the automatic transmission and brakes and driver side window regulator... And after all that!! The car is freakin awesome for being over 10 years old. My only plans for the car is new audio, dark tint, blackened headlights and maybe some other things here and there. Not looking for a racer, just a cool littler ride that is nice to drive... I am a previous owner of a 92 Integra GSR from about 8 plus years ago. Now, that was a race car!! And yes, it was a B17A and I put a JDM tranny with an LSD and 30K miles as well as full racing suspension, brakes, wheels, tires.... yada yada yada... That was my race car...
My New Civic will just be for cruising... no racing... Anyway, I cant wait to gain alot of knowledge from yall and hope I can share some of my knowledge and experience as well...
