Whats goin on fellas and chicas Im new to the site and all forums on the internet. I have been a civic owner since I was 19 (my first car). Im 24 and just got my second civic due to a tractor trailer blasting me goin through a green light. Enough about my original Baby Im startin to tear up. I recently just purchased another 97 ex to take place of the love of my so I can have alot of back up parts and transfer my mods like rims, complete coilovers, suspension mostly etc. The one I just purchased looks just like a Si down to the DOHC VTECH decals but has a d16 with slipping clutch so i have been stressed to buy a new engine so as not to be labeled as a tool. I dont KNow which way to go though. I was thinkin B16a2 w/ edelbrocks new Performer x Kit for that engine but it seems like the b16 is pretty much labeled old school so perhaps K20a2. But dont have much knowledge of engine swaps and specifications. My Perfect Vehicle 2 me would look very simple but tastefully done with an engine that would suit everyday driving but fast enough to quiet alot of people. Im not the type to show off but I Hate to back down from challenges. Help me plz Im so bad off that any advice will not hurt. im not stupid and impulsive so keep replys real and helpful thank You
