Rep Power: 0 Best way to install footwell light?
I would like to know how to install footwell lights on a 2005 honda civic ex. Most people, show to wire it from the dash up to the dome light. I saw another video that wired it to the fuse box and another to the door switch. They did not really explain well on how to hook it up to the fuse box or door switch. Can anyone help me with this?

The new lights need to get hooked into a circuit that either goes to 12v or to ground when the door is opened. The dome light or door switch would accomplish this. The fuse could be used if one of these circuits is available.
Is there a dome light fuse? Depending on the current draw of the light a relay may need to be used.

The drivers door, and other doors are not on the same circuit (Inputs to MICU)when dealing with the door switches.
The wiring is already ran into the column that I suggested & easy to tie into.
WHT/BLU = +12V & WHT/BLK = Grounding/Control
