Tell the world a little bit about your vehicle
Engine blew on the car when my mom had it 4 months new in March 1994 (she got it in the end of November 1993). She had the car AAA'd to Bill Vince's Bridgewater Acura and they ended up replacing the engine. In 1998, I was doing an oil change and purolator air filter change when the engraved engine code was dirty, I cleaned the soot off and it read "B18C3". I later on upon searching on my 38.4kbps connection that it is a JDM GS-R that was mated with autos over in Japan. It was badged the EDM Type R as this is their motor as well.
The B18C3 puts out between 189 or 194HP and 127lb-ft.
The tech at BV BW Acura confirmed the engine block code as at the time they had a short stock of B18C1 engines and did use the C3 variant
