Ok. It's possible to bypass the seatbelt alarm, but you're not going to get that information from me. What I will tell you is that the SRS module (supplimentary restraing system or airbag module) on modern vehicles evaluate whether or not to deploy air bags based upon deceleration direction and magnitude. Wearing a seatbelt increases the threshold at which the airbags deploy. That means it will not deploy at lower speeds because wearing a seatbelt is sufficient to restrain somebody from serious injury. If you don't wear a seatbelt, the sensor detects that and will deploy the airbags at a lower threshold in an attempt to protect the unrestrained occupant. This is is to protect you if you forget to wear your seatbelt, despite the warning light and alarm. If you alter the system such that you bypass the seatbelt detection so you don't wear your seatbelt when a collision occurs as it sounds like you intend to do, you will sustain much more serious injuries in a crash than if you just left it alone.

Rep Power: 0 Yup. if you tried to by pass the SRS alarm while in an accident without wearing your seat belt, you can have you head snapped back from the force of the deploying airbag.

Rep Power: 428 no offense man, but your an idiot if you want to remove that alarm. Just wear your damn seatbelt. This is why laws are getting stricter and stricter every year because people out there wont wear there seatbelt.
