Rep Power: 0 When you dont pay a ticket in the US eventually theyll issue a bench warrent which means they wont look for you but if you get caught for anything (speeding, whatnot) itll come up. Lets just say you had a business meeting in DC and you woke up late and you speed to get there on time whats your boss gonna say when you tell him u didnt make it cause you got arrested. I would just pay the ticket.

Rep Power: 0 First of all, the majority of the states have a reciprocal agreement with each other, including most of Canada. Thus, if you are issued a summons, it is reported to the DMV in your home state. Most of them do not assess penalty points against your record, however.
I can assure you that if you fail to pay this summons, your license will be suspended indefinately for what we call a "scoff--failure to answer." If you receive a summons in Canada or the US, no matter where your license is, you must answer the summons. You can not simply discard it. If you fail to answer, you will also receive a warrant which will be lodged by your name and date of birth. If someone runs your license, up pops a little window saying "warrant."
My advice, pay it. It's not going to have any adverse effects against your record, but if you disregard it, you can find yourself in a lot of trouble.

Rep Power: 0 My dad got a ticket in canada, and so long as he never gets pulled over there again, he never had to pay for it, Canada has agreements with border states that make the citizens pay, but seeing as he lives in georgia, not happening.
