Im not too sure if you guys can help me out but i need help. I got in my car the other day and the battery was dead, so i had someone jump the car and took it into the sears and they told me the battery was dead. I ended up spending like 80 dollars for everything new battery etc. Then i go to use my cd player and it wont work it says code. My boyfriend told me i need the code and he called the dealer but they want 80 bucks for code. Is there anyway i can get out of having to blow another 80, i know it sounds dumb but is there a way to cheat it... i mean its not like its a special cd player i dont understand its factory, but anyways any help is appreciated thanks guys

Rep Power: 0 Nope it's not... Pop your hood There is a black electrical box where all the fuses are. Pop the lid and behind that lid there should be a sticker with a code. Try that code and it should work. Saved you 80 bux! Let me know if it works

Rep Power: 0 i used to be a mechanic at an independent garage that delt with hondas and acuras. if i remember correctly there should be a sticker in your glove compartment or maybe its in the VIN number but if you can find a shop like that they can usually call the dealer find out for you. it will probably cost something but not $80.

Rep Power: 0 There is also a honda site that my dealer had me create an acount on. It is hondas owener link thing. Its at www.ahm-ownerlink.com. Has all the info on my car such as maintanence and it even has the radio code for me. Maybe you could sign up. And it would have your code.

Rep Power: 0 uhhh... if you can prove the car and radio is yours then they should give the code to you for free. Atleast they do at my dealership.

Rep Power: 761 In my car I found it on a label on the underside of my trunk lid so I could see it when I opened the trunk. The code should be 5 digits
