Replaced head gasket and all others related to top of engine. Also timing belt, water pump, and tensioner. Also thermostat.
I now have a flashing D indicator,my cruise won't come on and car feels like it starts out in overdrive and never shifts.
I wonder which plug I have left disconnected?Have gone back several times to look.
Any ideas are appreciated

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

How about ground wires left loose or completely off?

I only know of 2 grounding points.1 from radiator support to the head and another one out of a harness to thermostat housing. If there is more I missed them.Everything is worth a look at this point.
Thanks,
Steve

Look next to the water neck for the top rad hose at the head. 10mm bolt.
