Yes you can now put indiglos in the dx because you would have a lx cluster. If anyone is worried about starting your new cluster over a 0 just call your DMV. I called them today and they told me to just write the old milliage on the sales order for the new cluster and you should be fine. As for the gauge cluster its self, i found out many different things. There are 2 different brands of clusters, one is made in mexico ( called Visteon) and one made in Japan (called NS) for our civics. YOU WANT TO USE THE EXACT SAME BRAND CLUSTER. To find out what cluster you own now, you take out your cluster and pop off the front visor. After you have that off next remove the black plastic directly underneath the visor. The brand of cluster will be printed right below your speedometer.
Its pretty easy to install the new cluster, just install it the same way you took it out. In all this is a very expensive to do. The final cost for my cluster was 375.00
hope this helps and if any of you guys have any more question just email me

Rep Power: 0 Where can you get the cluster for $150 ?? And is it hard to swap the two clusters, like with popping it out and the wire connections? Could you post a DIY? And how do you put the correct mileage on it?? You just tell the company how many miles you have on your car, how do you validate that that's the correct mileage cuz' I only have like 7,000 miles on my vic' and I don't want any problems about adjusting tha numbers.

Rep Power: 0 To get the current miles on your new cluster would have to be done through honda. I didnt adjust the miles on my new cluster because My DMV said to just write the old miles on the sales recipt of the new cluster. If you really want to have your new cluster programmed its going to cost a pretty penny =) Ill work on a DIY this week and let you know when its up

also to answer neocivicracer question, you really need to stay with the same brand cluster. If yours is a visteon cluster then order the same visteon cluster for your car. ( make sure if you own a dx coupe you order a cluster to fit a coupe, and for the sedan the same thing.)

tach for youre DX
Jeff...Cluster made by Visteon are for SEDANS I have a coupe. That's why I'm asking. DX Coupes come with a Visteon cluster, but the rest Coupes come with NS clusters.

Rep Power: 0 from what I have read, just to be safe stay with the exact same brand of cluster. If you want to experment on your own about putting a ns cluster in a civic that has had a visteon go for it. I just dont want to take a chance of frying my ecu =)
