Hello to everyone,
I am new here, and just had some questions, was hoping you all could help me. I am the original owner of a 95 Civic Vx that has 241,000 miles on it, it is all stock. I have always tried to for the most part stay up on my maintance. I changed the oil every 3-4K, the timing belt every 65-70K, and the car has never been overheated. What do you guys think is realistic in regards to how much longer this car can be driven reliabley. I drive a lot of miles so, need less to say, I love my VX, it is very easy on the wallet. At this time it is running a bit rough but, it doesn't burn any oil, and I am still getting approx 50+ MPG with freeway and in town driving.
Thanks,
Steve

There are many civics out there with 300K+ miles on them. I would say keep up on the maintance and should be able to see 300K.

Hello Camaro,
thanks for the response. That is good to know because I seem to need to do some maintenance on it now as it is running a bit rough and making some noises, but I will feel I bit better about putting some more $$ into it. Like I said before, it has never been overheated, and it isn't burning any oil nor has it seemed to lose much power so, I think it is still pretty healthy in regards to the engine.
Thanks,
