got a squeaky clutch? I fixed mine today **pic added**
After a year driving my Civic with a squeaky clutch. I finally can't take it anymore, so I decided to get it fix today. It turns out to be a easy fix, all u need is some lithium grease.
1. Find the clutch cyclinder( dunno if it is the right name) on the left side of the headers, u will see 2 bolts holding the clutch cyclinder, remove them.

2. Pull the Clutch cyclinder slightly to the right without bending the lines
3. Remove the plastic cover, you will see a ball join, I found mine are full of dirt and have a little rust, clean it with WD-40 and polish it will a paper towel

4 Lubricate the join with lithum grease and put everything back together
lub here too
took me 15mins
It works!!!no more squeaky clutch and the pedal feel smooth again.
P.S. Good idea to have some clutch fluid arround, check the fluid level afterwards.

Rep Power: 0 Update!! after 3 days of heavy rain, my clutch squeak again!! 
It proves that motor oil doesn't work!
I will do it again with lithium grease when the weather get better, and I will post pic, hope it will last longer

The service advisor gave the usual "that's normal" comment, but I told him that the clutch pedal in the 14 year-old beat-to-hell Nissan Sentra that I traded in for the Civic never creaked once. I mentioned to him that a couple of my friends have teased me, "is this a Honda or a Chevy Cavalier?" I think he got the message that I was not amused...
I'll keep this fix in mind, though. Thanks for posting it.

Rep Power: 280 My clutch has this annoying sound as I'm engaging it(at 3000 rpm). I will try this, when I get home. If possible some pics would be nice, kinda like DIY. It probably really easy to do but I never really worked on my car before.

Rep Power: 0 Pictures added! I fixed the squeaky clutch problem by doing this, but seem the clutch still squeak a little bit after a week, but it's much much better than before.
I say it's worth the trouble.
I may try to put a piece of plastic between the join later, so they won't squeak at all.
The design of this join is stupid!!!

Nice DIY... i've had my car since 2001 and i've had my squeak since 2002 hahaha... i thought it was just my clutch.... nice fix though... I got a new clutch so i this DIY won't do me no good.

When you say to "remove the plastic cover", you're talking about pulling back that L-shaped rubber boot covering the ball join, right?

clutch is squeek free and smooth as butter!
I know crap all about cars but I managed to do it.
all you need is a wrench 12mm socket and preferrably an extention more than 8 inches.
The first picture, the clutch cylinder unit is to the left of the header like he says. you can see it from top so you can work on it from the hood (no need to get under the car). look for that white bar code sticker. The 2 bolts he's talking about is what mounts the clutch cylinder unit. There's a metal bracket that is bolted on by one of the 2 bolts. If the bolts are hard to access, you can remove the 2 electrical wire connectors by using a screwdriver to unlatch the plastic unit from the metal bracket (look closely at the plastic unit, you'll know what i mean). after that's removed it's easy access to the bolts.
once the bolts are removed you can easily remove the clutch cylinder unit from that plastic/rubber boot. clean that biotch up on both sides (ball end and joint end) i sprayed mine with some teflon lube.
Make sure you use lithium grease, LIKE HE SAYS, and lube that biotch up like a virgin ***.
Assemble everything back together. Butter man butter!
Clutch feels like the first day i took it off the dealer lot.
