- Sure it is. This place isn't really about "my car is better than yours". It's a community of people who like to show off their cars. Opinions are great, so long as it doesn't delve into "hating".
What the heck is "hating" & "flaming"?
- Hating is dissing someone's ride. It's saying that their ride "sucks"
generally because of extra-large spoilers and such. People have their own
tastes, and regardless of whether it looks "ricey" or not, people like it, so
knock it off.
- Flaming is when people start being aggressive, calling each other a$ and so forth. Threads that show this behavior get locked pretty darn quick, so just don't do it. Frequent flamers have been known to be banned.
What does RTFM mean?
- RTFM = Read The !@# Manual

What's the best ______?
- That's a completely personal question generally. The short answer is that I can't really answer it in just the few sentences that I have. Most products have a good side and also a bad side, but your best bet is to go ahead and actually ask the people in the forum.
I want to do a cheap performance upgrade. What should I do?
- Again, it depends. Most of the time, the answer has something to do with the
air intake. A CAI, SRI, or even just a K&N air filter can be give you a
significant (all things considered) boost in horsepower without a *lot* of money
involved (generally betwean $200 and $300)
- Another good upgrade for a similar cost would be to get the car lowered with lowering springs. It doesn't make the car go faster, but it does make it handle better (in theory).
Where can I get the clear corner headlights?
- You can't get them anywhere; well, not yet anyway. Supposedly APC will have some. For now, it has to be done yourself. Check out Clearing Your 7th Gen Civic Headlights (and front bumper removal) for instructions on how to do it.

Will adding ______ void my warranty?
- Many people want to add on aftermarket parts to their cars, but they don't want to lose their warranties at the same time. Talk to your dealer. Inform them of what you want to add on to the car and ask them if they will honor work done under the warranty if something should break. In general, if you add on a part and it can be proved that it is responsible for something breaking then the dealer will not fix the damage under warranty.
