Alright guys, two races into the season and Jenson Button has two wins. No Honda factory team this year but the Honda-designed Brawn GP cars are kicking some ass! Whats everyone think of the new changes to Formula 1 this year?

The KERS system explained. Looks really interesting and I think the system will do good things for Formula 1. Should get to see more driver duals with the system in use.
freaking a! mcleran loss ron dennis! hamilton is more than likely gonna leave to ferrari! WTF man and that stupid kers system is weak. stupid FIA.

Pretty wild rule changes for sure. The cars look so strange with those huge front wings and tiny rears. The KERS added weight, slicks are back (if we ever get a dry track)

I don't see whats so bad about the kers system. Adds another variable that can screw things up which means better racing for the fans. I think it was only matter of time until something like the kers system showed up in F1. Got to go with the future man and unfortunately no one in F1 agrees with me that the future still lies in V10 engines revving to 19k+ rpms.

mike the kers system is such a waste of time. for developing and a testing ground having the kers system is pointless because in the regular auto industry, meaning for regular cars, the hybrid system is completely different. The kers system does have regenerative braking okay cool, but they already have plenty of cars that have that. if F1 really wanted to do something they should make all the cars run off of a fuel cell that way they develop 1. faster engines for the hybrids and 2 they can reduced the stack sizes to save weight. not to mention the going green factor.
even the british annoucer (david bell i think) says the same thing but he thinks that they should restrict the air flow in the cars and make the engines smaller. now that is a good idea because not only do you have to figure out the stoichmetric ratio for the car, you have to work the combustion chamber to get the proper squish and swirl figures. Also the compression ratio will get bumped up extremely high so you could run other fuels like e85 but thats just me. maybe they could run desiel engines in the future. dirty? possibly if they dont limit the amount of NOx and carbons produced but it could be more fuel efficent

I'm kind of disheartened about the results of the super diffuser. Passing pretty much didn't happen so it was pretty boring after the first lap but Piquet had me laughing when he was holding up the pack using his KERS.
I watched some of the Indy Car race from Kansas today and I want to note how much cooler the F1 cars look. What the hell do the people of America find so interesting about cars running an oval track for hundreds of miles and hours at a time. That shit was boring as hell. Thumbs up to the IRL for snagging Danica though.

I personally enjoyed this Bahrain GP, mostly because Massa didn't win this time. Hopefully he won't win in Turkey or any Tilke track for that matter. But anyways, this race was more a pit strategy race. I noticed the tire of choice for the first stint was the super softs. And the teams running on the primes were without grip for most of the race, mostly for Toro Rosso and BMW. I do think the KERS is somewhat effective, however i don't think Piquet could hold off Barrichello by just using KERS alone. Its more about race pace than just pushing a button.
