Official 2007 F1 Thread

4 odd days to go...

Any tips for the season?

Will Ferrari retain the title?

Will Alonso recover from a PR nightmare season?

Will Honda score a point?

Re: Official 2007 F1 Thread

I'm soo excited for the season to start. I really want Kimi to repeat and start his own legacy.

If the Renaults are fast this year, I'm anticipating a very close season. I'd love to see Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton, and Massa battling it out every race.

As for Honda. I'd love to see them have success but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Anyone have thoughts on no traction control this year?

I've been away for a while so never got to reply.

4 odd races in and its looking interesting. Kimi is on a mission, Macca have lost it abit, BMW are going well, and SA are gone!!!!

I'm delighted to see TC gone. You can really see the drivers fighting the cars, there will never be the power slides of the 80's, but a small skid is better than nothing!!

Interesting race at the weekend. Haven't seen rain at Monaco for years, it really mixes things up!

Was disappointed for AS in the Force India, after such a great race it would have been nice for him to get the points. But thats F1...

A very wild race right from the start. Lost count of the number of front wings damaged, Plus the changing weather was a huge factor for strategies.

Re: Official 2007 F1 Thread

I was so amazed that Kimi kept that car from going seriously out of control when he rear-ended Force India OMG. I felt so bad for AS I was actually feeling a little annoyed at Raikonnen, but amazed at the same time he didn't crash out completely because that car got wayyyy squirrelly.

Why don't we change this to the 08 thread?

Congrats to Nelson P on his podium finish.

Tape delay races are WORTHLESS, Luckily this is the last one of those for the season. Back to live on Speed.

Congrats to Honda on their 08 podium as well.

And congrats to Heikki for his first win - if only it wasn't fluked.

What has happened to Kimi this season? He seems to have forgotten where the accelerator is!
