^ lmao @ Chad Johnson... That celebration was HORRIBLE... but hell yeah man, those 2 games were awesome games. Raven's got robbed on that touchdown to Todd Heap... But oh well, i won my first fantasy football game!
^Dude I was at the Pats/Chargers game and we PNWED!!! the best was before the game and they announced Bill Belichick and we cheered like crazy haha.. what was with that one call from that ump too.. he was like "there was no foul on the play, the defender was just overpowered by the tackle" it was like wait what???
My fantasy teams (6 total) are dominating. All were live drafts, one, the $100 league, was offline at a friend's house. I've won the first two weeks in each league, as this week is settled, and unless my guys going tonight put up a lot of negative points, I win by a boat load. My team in my high scoring league put up over 400 points.
As for the teams, the Pats really are looking great, as I expected. I hate them, but the moves they made in the offseason looked brilliant, and have panned out very well. Moss has been a mid round draft pick beast for me in fantasy.
My Falcons, as I expected when we lost MV7, have played horrendously. I told everyone that Mike's ability to elude the rush was less valued than it is worth, and now my fellow season ticket holders are beginning to see that. I will be glad when we get him back, as I doubt, after his comments, that Blank is going to cut him. And if we do get rid of him, it looks as if we'll have the number 1 pick, and will be able to take Brian Brohm 1st overall. We have a lot of holes on the o-line, evidenced by the 7 sacks on Harrington. I'm in for a long season as a season ticket holder.
The Saints, as I predicted, were a fluke last year. It's a good story, but they're not going to have the success they had last season.
San Diego was made to look average last night. New England just taught the entire league how to stop that offense.
The Colts have been impressive, and more so on the defensive side of the ball than the offensive side. Who'd have ever thought we'd be saying that?
San Francisco, barring an injury to Frank Gore, will make the playoffs this season, and could go deep. They have no major holes they need filled, and their players are servicable at nearly every position.
Pittsburgh appears to have Big Ben back to 100% again, and they are playing pretty good right now.
Maybe Matt Schaub is a pretty good QB after all. He didn't fit our offensive style in Atlanta, but he's doing well out in Houston. It'll be interesting to see how it pans out for him.
Detroit, true to my predictions before the pre-season, are playing in midseason form. They should make the playoffs this season, and should win the division behind that offense. I just wonder what the result of Kitna's injury is, and the impact it will have. Calvin Johnson, the local boy, is just like everyone thought he'd be, very impressive, and most likely the most NFL ready prospect to come out of last year's crop.
Oakland, while still 2-0, are a better team than last year, and better than this season's results indicate. They'll win more games than last season, and could surprise quite a few teams this season. No playoff contender, but they'll spoil someone's hopes before season's end.
Baltimore really is weak on offense. McGahee hasn't produced quite as expected, but he's the most solid cog on offense they have. They need a little scoreboard support for the D, as they're still nasty on that side of the ball.
Cleveland, as I predicted, has a pretty good team. The offense is going to be just fine, with Jam being back to form, and Braylon and Winslow being at or near 100% after their injury plagued seasons doesn't hurt. They have a servicable QB, and could make a run if they get hot.
McNabb, as I predicted, hasn't regained his full potential quite yet. He's going to be alright, but if they hope to keep the rabid fans there happy, they need to get the ship righted quick.
Zona has a fairly easy schedule. If the defense can make a few stops and slow the other team down, they should make the playoffs behind that offense. Hopefully Leinart turns out to be the great sleeper pick (speaking fantasy football) that he should be with that group of receivers and RB.
There, that's my rundown, in the cliff notes version, of things across the league.

we lol'd when we heard that. "He was just PWNED by the tackle" lol
Moss has been a mid round draft pick beast for me in fantasy.
i was amazed at all the people who doubted him just because he had a couple of bad years.

i think that they will be a wildcard team. reggie bush is avg 3 yards per carry. doubt that'll stay that way

that is impressive, even tho they had a close game against the titans, their D won them that game. the winner of the afc championship, either the patriots or the colts, will win the superbowl.

still don't think they'll be that good this year. i duno y. i guess i just can't see the browns being a good team. haha
i was really impressed with green bay's defense. although the giants suck, they're offense is not bad. and green bay held them to only 13 pts.

Damnit... i missed the picks. but pretty close Speedricerx.
But i won my 3rd fantasy game... now 3-0 and in first place. I had westbrook, and he's a baller. Kinda disappointed in the Dal and Chi game... Thought it would be a better game. But i was happy because i have Cowboys going all the way. Nice comeback for the Giants, i don't think anybody expected that.
^ lol @ grossman... After his 2nd interception of last night, all of the Bears fans were chanting "Griese! Griese! Griese!" It was PRETTTTTY FUNNNAY!
I have Romo for my QB... he's leading our league in points. I also have Westbrook (Who is leading our league for in points) and LaMont Jordan (3rd in league for RB's) So i have a pretty good team... My WR's suck though. I only have Roy Williams. Man i love football!
My Picks for week 4
Baltimore @ Cleveland
St. Louis @ Dallas
Chicago @ Detroit NYJ @ Buffalo Houston @ Atlanta Oakland @ Miami
Green Bay @ Minnesota Pittsburgh @ Arizona Tampa Bay @ Carolina
Seattle @ San Francisco
Denver @ Indianapolis
Kansas City @ San Diego Philadelphia @ NYG New England @ CIN
I'm 3-0 in all 5 of my leagues (unless Vince Young significantly outplays Drew Brees in my big money league that is, I'm leading by 35 points in it). The other 4 are all finals, and in my high schoring league I cracked 400 points again this week. The sad thing is, I benched Ronnie Brown in every league and he put up mondo points.
