the best player isn't on the ice yet... Danny Heatley, course im from the atl area,so the only hockey i ever watch is going to thrashers games... guess my opinion is biased. i just dont get the sport, its soccer on ice. you got all these guys chasing after a piece of an old tire, and trying to hit it as hard as they can, past some guy in a jason maskinto a net... whats the point?

I like them both, but I'll have to give the nod to Hockey for pure excitement. A Baseball game gets boring if it's 8-0 after the first inning. A hockey game is still exciting.
No stats needed. One of the best two way players in the game and a total threat at all times. The guy is a power forward with speed, touch and power. He plays all even, short and powerplay situations.
