lacrosse is big here in michigan and on the east coast from what i know....i play it occasionally with friends but not any organized team. i know the basics of it, but it seems alittle too easy for me, but then again i haven't played in a game where you get drilled by huge men with metal sticks......THAT is why lacrosse is sweet, cause killing people isn't a crime

Lacrosse is the true american sport. I played when I was younger against some teams in Ottawa and St. Catherine's. What a great sport. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll ever be as popular as pro football because of the variance in rules: ie. women's lacrosse.

Lacrosse is actually Canada's national game, not hockey.

Aboriginals first played it in Canada, so it's a Canadian-made game as well, I guess...too bad we hardly play it.

LaCrosse? Isn't that a clothing company? Oh, wait...I think I have seen the girls at Xavier playing that way back when I was in High school. Kind of like Field Hockey but easier...

j/p, the sport I would like to see catch on more here in the States is Rugby.
