to all my fellow import tuners in the north, snow can mean hell for the car, yet heaven for the skis or board. i personally am a skier cause i think the tricks are more complicated, look better when mastered, and not enough people freestyle ski anymore. let me know why skiing is better than snowboarding......or, if you must, why boarding is better

well I do both so I cant go either way on the topic but freestyle skiig is wicked the tricks look 100 times cooler when they are exectuted correctly but for everyone who wants to go the easy way it is probably snowboarding because it is wayeasier to learn how to get big air and hang time so you can to tricks and rails and what not
i can do rails on skis, everything just takes more time, patience and injuries....last year i fractured both wrists on separate occasions, and had to get 7 stitches in my chin cause i tried a 900.....which i later completed!!!
i can do both, but i am a better skier, my mobility is better on skies than on a snowboard so i would lean towards skiing being better but that's just my opinion.
I enjoy both throughly... I'm not an expert at either, however. I picked up Boarding fairly easily, and it sure is fun being able to go just about any direction, but skiing is still a whole lot of fun too... I find I get less fatigued skiing.
Yes, I have to admit, I can get fatigued. I don't live in the snow, and I only drive up to tahoe a few times a year, if that, so I don't have the luxury of living up there. Not to mention I am 6-something and 200-something lbs, so it's a bit tougher to hang with the shorter civic drivers
hellz yeah for freestyle skiin... I personally have a set of Line 176 cm Skogen Sprang Pro's I love em... I used to ski board but I started skiin since it was more challenging
i get no love for the freestyle skiing in michigan. all i here from above the pipe is "skiing sucks!!" then they see i go bigger and better than most boarders, and that shuts them up
