I got pulled over last nite...

I was dropping my gf off at home it was about 11:15
I am 17 years old and curfew is 11:30
I was driving and i passed by a cop who was turning in the same direction in which i was going
He was driving behind me for about 2 minutes
He then flashed his lights
He told me he pulled me over for a loud exhaust
My exhaust isnt that loud, there were other cars around the area w/ exhaust way louder
Anyways he gives me a warning for the exhaust but i got a ticket for no valid drivers license because it was curfew
I am not from around that area, in my town curfew is 11:30 and according to the officer curfew is 11 in all of IL
I know that is incorrect
I have court Aug. 4th

Just go to court and ple your case..that easy. Also here in Dallas most cops wont show for bs tickets..

Curfew at 17 is 11PM in all of IL. If your local curfew claims 11:30 they are just being lenient, and aren't supposed to be doing that.

With exceptions for coming and going to and from work or school.

When you get older you'll realize you can't do things because other people do them. If your exhaust is over the legal level then you get a ticket regardless of how loud others are. I'd say go to court and tell them your confusion, it's really your only option.

Throw your stock muffler on

Take a pic of it into court.
Keep in mind you can only do this like twice or three times.
(so long its not the same judge)

If not try and talk your way out,usually dose not work in NM where I live

You need to have proof
