inadaquet brakes

I recieved a paper in the mail from the DMV that said I had recieved tickets for Unsafe start and inadaquet breaks. And now I have to pay 100 a year for three years. But I was never pulled over nor was I ticketed for "inadaquet breaks" Where should I go to see if I got a ticket for this or not? Would I go to the police station in the city I got the ticket? Thanks for any advice anyone has. To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

Call the DMV or police station. They will be able to tell you more. The NY dmv is a b**** to get a hold of though, and rude when you do.
