well since you live in texas, if you get caught driving with a suspended license, you will go to jail. Plain and simple. Dont ask me why, but its the law here. They dont just write you a ticket, you go to jail. It sucks.
My suggestion is if you do have a suspended license, drive like you are 90 years old. Use your turn signals, drive the speed limit, everything. Other then that, if you get worried, dont drive.

I am not too sure. Once you go to jail, they figure it out there. its basically like getting a misdemenor, you go to criminal court and get a lawyer and what not and the DA gives you a few options. Possibly probation, possibly longer suspension. Is your license getting suspended?

my suggestion is flat out DO NOT DRIVE. You know it isnt unusual if a cop is behind you for him to randomly decide to run your plates. If it seems like he's riding your ass really close, then he's probably running them. He'll run them, it'll come up, and you're ****ed.
If you were driving your brothers/sisters car and got pulled over, the cop would know you were driving by seeing you in the drivers seat. Now if your brother or sister was driving, why would they get pulled over in the first place? Unless they didnt something wrong and a cop saw it.
What is your exact situation anyway?

Judges get very angry with you if you get caught driving on a suspended. They see it as a slap in their face. Like comitting another crime while on parole.
You will go to jail.
you will get fined, alot.
your suspension will get extended, by alot.
I am speaking from personal experience.........

Only if you are the driver of the vehicle will you be places under arrest. If you are driving someone elses car, then the officer needs probable cause to pull you over. i.e. tail light, speeding etc.. If you are caught driving under suspension, you will be arrested and if there is no other licensed driver in the vehicle, the vehicle will be impounded. Once you are transported and booked into the jail, you can then post bail for this type of arrest; depending on how many prior convictions you have had for the same offense. Chances are for 1st time offense you will receive a fine and an extension on your license. So if you get caught, plan on having a crappy night.
