i believe that cop coulda hauled your *** to jail. i'd fight it anyway and maybe it'll get reduced...get a lawyer if you can and also...dont speed, it wastes gas and what are you gonna do if you get into an accident where someone is hurt/killed?

if he clocked you at 90 in a 50, you're screwed one way or another. it's difficult and expensive to try and get out of a ticket for anything more than 25 over limit

Best bet would be to get a lawyer. Was it by HPD or the sheriffs dept? Just out of curiousity?

I got a 92 in a 50 on the belt way feeder and some how they lost the ticket, didn't have to pay anything. Went to court and no record of the ticket was there so i told them that i lost my copy and walked out, that was three years ago and i haven't heard anything sents. I just got lucky=)

Shut up with the "dont speed" advice. Thats not what he asked for, dont be cute.
That's damn fast.. yeah get a lawyer and prepare for an *** rapage if it all fails. Never got one that high, but I got 3 tickets

your lucky they didnt haul you to jail, because in tx u go over 30 miles over speed limit, your most likely to go to jail. Anywayz, just get a lawyer and request for lower payments, because i think its goin to cost alot since they didnt arrest you. plus thats goin pretty fast on a 50.

Which court house? Harris.. Fort Bend... City of Houston? Try asking for Deferred Adjudication (over 25 version of Driv. Saft. Course)... Most courts should have something similar, if the judge allows it's use.. At my court, you pay the court fees upfront ($81).. then after 90 days (without any CONVICTIONS) you come back at 7 a.m. on the 90th day and pay $100 and your case will be dismissed from your record permanently..
PM me and let me know whats up..

Pretty much wheaman.. after 30 they can arrest you and tow your car.. impound fees SUCK...
If you put it on a payment plan it WILL go on your record..
And if they wont give you Def. Adj. THen ask them if a Lawyer would be able to have it granted.. all courts are a bit different..
