so my friends driving in a neihborhood, and hes going 26 mph, he sees a cop and just passes him, cop turns around and puts his lights on him, gives him a ticket for going 1 mph over, and the cop says u should even be going 15 mph for the kids.

what an ass hole

that's weak... if i were a cop i wouldn't pull anyone over unless they were going over by a lot in a residential area...26 isnt like you can't stop at that speed

26 in a 25 is still speeding. radar or speedo, if you get pulled over doing 26 in a 25, the officer has every right to issue you a ticket.

just tell your friend to go to court and hope the judge isnt a stickler for the rules.

No lol jeez cmon guys, if you get a ticket for going 5 mph over the speedlimit or lower, like 1-5 mph over you can request that a calabration be made of the speedo and the radar gun... if its not the same your good since you only went 1 mph over, and most of the time itll be liek 1 mph off lol. My friend did it and got outta a 1 mph ticket once... it was funny... also what kinda cop would bust out da gun for 1 mph.. you musta looked fast =)

when i got out of work today my civic looked all sorts of fast today... but then again it was covered with dry road salt.. which made it look like i had the worlds most insane paint job... it looks much slower now that i washed it..
