122 in the desert on my way to vegas from phoenix. 3am on a wednesday. Cop was cool. Gave me a "waste of a natural resources" ticket. No points on the record. Talked with me for like 30 mins...I think he was bored.

165 km's in a 100 km zone.

think that translates to about 100 mph in a 60 mph zone.

Basically it's a way to get thier money. At 3am in the middle of nowhere I wasn't endangering anyone but myself. The ticket means that when driving at a high rate of speed your burning more gas than if traveling at the speed limit. They get thier money...and I don't get points on my license. I wish more states would adopt this. I don't mind paying my fine if I am speeding. If I'm weaving or speeding in traffic...then by all means I deserve a real ticket. But safley speeding ( well...as safe as one can be on a public road) shouldn't be as penalized. At least in my opinion.

I wish Iowa would adopt the waste of resources also then, damn. I got caught doing my high at 12:30 am and I was the only one on the highway, the cop wasn't even on it, it was on an onramp in an unmarked car......I hate it when they sit on the onramps, you can't see them until it is too late...

I got cited for "100+" in a 65 and 80 in a 40. I beat the 100mph ticket, did traffic school for the 80.

Another time I apparantly passed a cop who was getting on the freeway (never saw him) at about 115mph. It took him about 4 miles, an offramp, two red lights and a gas station driveway to catch up to me. Finally pulled me over in the gas station. He said, "I got on the freeway at 80mph and you left me in the dust." So he cited me for 80mph.

In my 92 Accord racing a 6th gen civic going 100 in a 40 mph zone. Got TWO tickets, one for Drag racing and one for speeding, had them both fixed to littering tickets, but costed me 700 dollars for the lawyer, I don't race anymore!

The higest I ever got was 55.5 in a 35. OoOoOoO right?

BUT.....one time about 4 years ago when I was 17, I was crusing in my GTA at 140 at about 2am. (PA has limits that a driver under the age of 18 can't drive after midnight) Well, the car over-heated and I pulled onto the sholder. Right after we pulled over I notice a flashing red light in my rear-view about 1/2 mile back. Then it's red and blue. SH!T!!! The cop stops next to me and asks if everything is ok. I say the we over-heated and he says, "ok, We're on the way to an acident. We'll stop back later." WHEW!!!!!!

81 in a 65 on a giant interstate highway. Everyone was doing 80, but I had out of state tags. They'll always ticket you out of state because they know you'll never fight it.

OMG i had the biggest scare Sunday. I was drivin with my friend on the highway, speed limit of 55. We were goin 85 havin a little fun on the way to Church, and i turn a bend and see a cop just sitting on the right side of the road, stopped, all alone. I'm like "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIT" and slam on the brakes. We then proceeded to creep by him and around the next few turns going 55 on the nose. Then we sped back up to a reasonable 70 or so. I was literally shaking of fear. I know that may not seem that bad, but getting cought going 30 over would mean my losing my license for like 40 years.

Most of these tickets I got in my 1965 Mustang, I recently sold it because I don't have the future funds to keep it within good working order.

before my civic I drove a Saab and was clocked at over 100mph in a 55. The officer was cool and gave me a ticket doing 75 in a 55. Telling me not to dare argue it. I paid $190 for the thing, but since this was out of state it did not affect my insurance rate. I guess I did luck out that time. Since the civic, never gotten pulled over. Knock on Wood.
