OK, I researched this a while back and I know for a fact that, in Virginia, there is a law saying that to replace the catalytic converter on a vehicle, the vehicle must be like 5 years old or the old one declared damaged by a licensed professional. Or something to that effect. I am planning on buying a Random Tech. high-flow cat soon, and I need to know specifically what the law states, to see if I can in fact buy it or not. Here is a link I use for all the motor vehicle laws of Virginia. That's probably where I found it; I just haven't been able to re-find it lately. Does anyone else know about this law? Thanks.
