under body light law

whats the law that deals with under body lights?
1. i heard NO RED OR BLUE cus thats a ticket for impersonating an emergency car....
2. i heard that u can have emm on while u drive.. just if they are not further then a certian distance from the edge of ur car..
i dunno maybe those are juss rummors.. ne 1 kno about ne thing??

I heard the same thing too about blue and red. I also heard that the laws vary from state to state. I heard that you CANNOT drive with the lights on. This information is based on speculation and rumor, not fact. Does anyone know the official laws or can provide us a link to them?

you just need to contact your local police dept. for information on this, since it varies from every jurisdiction.

i have purple....
i used to have yellow...

i DO drive with them on... COPS don't say a word...
trust me... i work with them...

RED,BLUE...NO! NO!
WHITE... NO NO, cause its for construction use only!

it will all depend on the state. Here in CT you can have em, but the bulbs/ tubes must be hidden from plain site. You can not drive with them on either.

to many threads about light laws so i am going to lock this one.

Again you should contact your local police dept. about neon laws since they vary in different cities.
