yellow/gold lights...legal?

im in illinois and i wanted to get yellow lights for my new 04 civic...cuz i think it would look nice with a black car...does anyone know if having yellow lights for headlights legal or not? im talkin about the bright yellow ones...i think theyre called gold ion or something, i dunno...well anyways...oh yea, does anyone know of any good yellow bulbs that i should look at..thanks To remove this ad, register today for free or log in if already registered!

mtec makes yellow bulbs and piaa has yellow ion bulbs too

if a bulb is rated 110 watts, would i be able to use it in my civic? im thinkin about the piaa yellow ion ones...i really want them...if i cant use it on my civic, what can i do to make it work without burning my wires..thanks again

as far as being able to use it in the civic, you can if its dot approved. and the wire part bout them burning, IMO anything over 60watts will burn your wires.
