Pay Ticket and Take Defensive Driving?

Okay i gotta ticket a while back and gotta go to court for it and i was wondering do you have to pay for the ticket and pay for defensive driving or just do one or the other?

In my state, you EITHER pay the ticket OR pay for traffic school.

same here, you just need to check with the court before you go to court over the matter.
