so if i had a 11 second civic with a k20a and a stage 3 turbo pushing about 550+ to the wheels would i loose him on a wide open strech of road?

yes you would win most def. To put the crown victoria into comparison with a car i would say a Ford Mustang Cobra, or Saleen depending on the year. The 98 models are the fastest with the blacked out grill

Get the new issue of Sport Compact Car. They take all the Police cars from the U.S. and test them out. There you'll find out which you can run from straight or lose on curvy roads.

i would say sure you can out run him...but cops have radios, and i would think that he would radio ahead and have you stopped down the road or something...

iceman-that was my point exactly, no car can out run the speed, technology, and advancement they have for aviation police control. At least, I haven't seen it yet.

the majority of cop cars have little or no engine mods, mainly suspension, least thats how they are around here... we have a police interceptor motor in a tahoe, and it'll turn a set of drag slicks though

some cops have new school cameros here, mainly intended for keeping up with street racers and highway speeders.

haha u know whats funny too.. they have to goto special driving school... and learn high speed manuvers... to think they get paid to learn how to drive fast and dip and weave threw traffic to follow us... what a waste of our tax dollars

they have races at some tracks where you race a cop car, lol, they suck! i have yet to see a cop car under 17 seconds! RSX's beat them by like 4 cars lengths!
