The crew and I were out cruising the town about a month ago, I beleive there were 12 of us or somewhere close to that. We came up to a left turn light and waited. Most of us here know that this light is really quick and the only way to get everyone through it at the same time is to cheat it a little bit. The first 4 of us creeped up on it as it was past midnight and there was no traffic coming at all to the intersection. Bearing in mind here we didn't have any 2-Ways with us so hopefully you understand why this happened....The first 4 of us thought the light was about to change and jumped it. Turns out another light changed and we flat out burned a red...
What we didn't see was the cop car in between our group about 3 cars back from me...Suddenly I see the lights flashing behind me....I guess since I was the last one it was gonna be me that got busted...lol.
So the policeman comes over to my car and says, "You know that you ran a red back there right?"
I say, "Yup."
Anyway, I gave him my story then realized that my ownership and insurance papers were in my other pants at home... So, I got two tickets for "Failure to Surrender..." Both of these are torn up when you present them at the cop shop within 72 hours. Then he wrote me another one for the light which he reduced to a basic yellow because I didn't bullshyt him around about why I did it.
The funniest part was that the three of the guys ahead of me got away and I had no idea where they went to. The guys behind me scattered and we met up with them later.
I'm sitting in my car waiting for the cop to come back and I see Tekgnosis and LilJoe walk by on the street as they had parked their cars somewhere...lol. Guess they just wanted me to know that they didn't bail on me...When it was all over I made the first right turn where I had seen them go and there they were sitting on a bus stop bench pointing to a parking lot....lol.
When I got there I found their cars parked in the dark, man that was too funny!
Anyway, that makes me the first in the team to get nailed so the initiation is over for me...lol.

lol atleast ur initiation is over.. it could have been a worse ticket... i mean if u werent honest and were being rude and stuff... he could have started picking ur car apart and giving u bull shit tickets for mods. ya know.
yeah I've been pulled over to have the car checked too.
cop: "well son, I'm not so sure that exhaust system is legal"
me: "It's 50 State Legal incl Cali, I think it'll pass in Ontario!"
Cop: "That pipe under your hood, that doesn't look legal."
Me: "It's an intake, there's nothing wrong with that either, can I go now?"

What made this guy an expert...Did he get sent to the Greddy school of tuning or something???? I mean really! My car will pass an emissions test easily the way it sits now.
Worry about the guy jacking the bank or the 7-11.
We were all at this mall one night (mall was closed). We would go there after hours so as not to interfere with customers trying to get spaces to park...
These two cruisers come in and park 10 yards from us and just sit there running our plates. Then this ass in a BMW (B unch of M oney W asted) comes flying by at about 130 km/h in a 60 zone past the fair and all the kids on the sidewalk and these two idiots just sit there and keep watching us!!! WTF!!! I swear the whole thing was just amusing to us until that very moment...

lol honestly ive noticed lately that cops try to take advantage of us and think that we dont know out rights.. im not saying they're all like that but some are... so basically if you not educated to the law you could get bogus tickets that could have been avoided... thats why this forum is great!

Can you explain what you mean by torn up within 72 hrs?!
I got a ticket in Ontario for "Failure to have insurance papers" (I had expired papers, but was still fully insured), and I signed up for a court date... Are you telling me that if I showed up within 72 hrs to any cop station that ticket would be ripped up??!
