I blew my shocks while having 4 people in the car, and slamming some HUGE gap in the pavement on moodie. it SUCKED. it actually hurt my back. fekking roads.

I'd hit up the koni's...but I hopefully have tein's on the way. I gave my buddy the money to pick them up, but they're on backorder or something

impact gun, ratchet, spray tool, paint tool...we also got 4 sets of sockets (SAE + Metric for both the ratchet and gun), extensions, quick releases...man, the list goes on
SO..this should make the swap go fairly easy! hehehe

Ya I'm damn serious about the swap...I know where to get the engine and I know how much it'll cost too. I'm gonna get the red cover for it too just to give it that JDM look you know...dayum I can't wait...It'll probably have to wait 'til the winter but that's okay. I'll likely get it done right before I put the car away for storage and then trailer it to my dad in Perth if the snow hits..Either that or I might be able to keep it in the Lallier Honda showroom as they expressed an interest in displaying it with a K20A....I was thinking of getting a little decal made like the Intel Inside emblem...Except it would be RSX inside or TypeS Inside...lol.

If you drive an RSX TypeS everyone knows your motor. If you drive a 2K1 + Vic with a better than stock engine (K20A), then you start to surprise people and pile up victims quickly...he he he!
The EVO's are deadly expensive and the dealer markup is 10K at least...It's sick..Nobody is buying it because of that.

1983: Yah we didnt really knwo what was going on...we just heard that cars were meeting up but we werent sure if people chilled inside or just in the back wodden thing!!! was your car the blue civic with the kaminari lip kit?? Thanks for the comments!! my car is alright...but i really need some sort of lip kit...i was thinking the rs one...but im still not sure. I also was a cf hood...but i dunno about that too. Some people like them, and others dont. What do you guys think

Some of the CF hoods are prety nice and some of them are kinda cheesy...It's all personal preference. I will be getting one for sure along with Z3 fenders and some extesive weight loss from inside the car...lots of plans for the winter....he he he!
Yah thats true....i would probably just get a straight hood...like so scoops or anything liek that. Some scoops are sick but other dont make sense cuz they really dont provide any functionality too them...its like i wanna be a camara with my hood scoop but im in a honda kinda think...at least thats what i think. Hey pharoh have u called pearl about tinting my white azzz windows yet? i wanna get it done by friday dawg!!

Haven't got around to it yet but I will this afternoon.
I also gotta call Tapp Auto and Plus 1 Performance to get quotes on the egine swap. I wanna go to Tapp Auto because they have a chasis dyno...yee haw!
Tapp Auto says that it'll likely take about 20 hours of shop time at 60/hr, I knew this was gonna be expensive but they have a dyno. They will need to build a downpipe and change the mounts to eurothane (the mounts were my idea). They suggest that I get the ECU flashed before I install it which will be easy enough to get done. What I want to do here is put in new cams, cam gears, pulleys and a new header before I drop the sucker in. I figure I'll have loads of time to do this before winter when the engine actually goes in. Tapp also said that they will give me all the fluids, tune up (the special Tapp Tune..lol) and the chasis dyno testing for free! They also said that if I want them to do my internals before the swap they will drop the rate to 25/hr which I thought was pretty cool!
