I got home today with my brand new die-cast Civic and Skyline. Long story short I was trying to cut the strap off the trunk of my Civic and put my Swiss Army knife through the top of my thumb like cutting a fillet off a fish. I got to the Civic Hospital at 5:20 and got home around 10:30 or so with 13 stitches in my left thumb!
The first of three needles to freeze the wound hurt like hell but what can ya do. The other two were fine and the stitches are clean....he he....never had stitches b4.

dayum pharoh....thats sucks yo sorry to hear bout that!! stiches are the worst...i had them on my cheeck, leg and belive it or not eyelid!
some rediculous stuff happens!!
Head+counter=cheek
leg+studded bike pedal=leg
2 litre bottle of coke filled with water+flying at my face=eyelid
glad you're okay, and you should be good as new in no time!
Stiches in the eyelid are nothing. Earlier this year I had the pleasure of haveing 16 stickes on my eyeballs. 8 in each eye. Stiches anywhere are a pain. Mike just try to keep them moist (Moist...that sounds so dirty lol) cause when those puppies start to dry up they itch like a mofo. Oh ya stiches are very sexy, especially when they are caused by working on your car
the image of that gives me the shivers, dood that sucks.
and isnt the civic hospital onlt for civics ???
*bad attemp on making a joke*

EYEBALLS....thats some ****#d up shit!!!!
they must have put you out tho right...i was still awake when they were sticking needles 1 mm away from my eyeball and telling me to stay still or they will poke it out.
and the friggin doctor was like in training so one was like teaching him what to do!! what the fu*k...teach on a dummy or some shit...this is my eye you're dealing with!!! i see shit with it...rediculous
actually baller I was put out for half the stiches and when I woke up they finished to stich my eye. So I know how you felt when you got your eye lid stiched. When I woke up the doctor told me he had to put a few more stiches in my eye. That I had to be very still and if I moved it would be bad. I also had someone there leanrning to do stiches. I had a big string hanging out of my eye. For some reason she thought she needed to pull on it. man I have never felt so much pain.
^^^thats rediculous...how could they have someone mess up like that....people just dont get others pain....shit hurst way to much to be fooling around! Man i feel for you
Tofast4me: Yeah I'm using Pollysporin for the wound and keeping it covered with a bandage. The doc told me that I didn't need to use the bandage but I do cuz it's not a pretty sight and should be not be visible...lol.
Oh my Mikey boy, sorry baby! Landin, you got my crackin' up at the visual of your accident, sorry baby! But, you did! However, of course, I am real sorry for your pain in that accident quite honestly. But Caryn my dear, you take the cake, YIKES!!! Eyeball stitches, OUCHY and no thanks! LOL

Ouch! That sounds painful! Can you guys Beleive that I have never EVER gotten stitches (and I hope I never do) Damn...I think I would faint if I ever got any injuries that you guys had.
DAMN! that is crazy! My finger got caught in my dobermans mouth 2 years ago. I would have gotten stitches but Im to big of a wimp to step into a hospital...so I ended up taping it with some medical tape. I don't blame the dog though it was by accident...let's just say it mistakened my finger for the ham I was gonna give him!
hahah dayum there are some crazy injuries...well i got one for yah.
went snowboarding one, fell on my arm, broke it, but didnt notice, then went home and started skateboarding, and fell on the same arm twice as hard and broke it even more!!! hahah that was hilarious.
then i broke my right one last year, and the hospital in vermont set the bone slightly but not fully, so 2 days later after bone had already started to regenerate the arm "specialist" told me they had to reset it again....CRACK...breaks the goddayum shit again to set it in place. Before he asked me if i wanted to ge put out, and he like barely touched my arm and said "it will feel kinda like this" LYAR!!! HE grabbed the shit and twisted it 90 degrees around....most rediculous pain i have ever endured. After that day i swore i would never try a backside lipslide on a downhill handrail with an ice landing!!!
but this year is gonna be sick!!!

Stitches came out on Tuesday but there was a small snag with the health card. It turns out that when I moved a few years ago I didn't tell them and when they got returned mail they cancelled my damn card...lol. So I had to pay for the visit and then deal with the M O H to get my card activated again. Now I gotta go to Kanata to get a check for the money I spent there out of pocket.
Other than that the thumb still looks kinda rude but it healed nicely. Getting the stitches out hurt a little bit because they were in so damn tight but it's all good.
Grand unveiling of said wound on Saturday...he he he.
