K guys I don't want anyone to take this personally cause this is not intended for anyone special just anyone who is willing to take some advice. GIRLS ARE ABLE TO WORK ON CARS TOO! On Thursday night Mani, Pete and I went out to Tim Hortons. There was a guys with a 7thgen in the parking lot. Pete and I walked over to talk to him to see what he had done to his car. To make a long story short he totally brushed me off cause guys think that girls know nothing about cars. Get this he was even trying to sell some rims that I know that Julian wants. He treated me like a moron and was surprised that I was asking questions about his car (it was a piece of chit anyways all gimped up). Bottom line guys, don't be scared if a girl may know more about cars then you. I am not saying I know tons about cars but maybe if you listen to a girl when it comes to it, it might surprise you that we know more then just cleaning it. I give credit to guys when they can do "girl" things so why not listen to us. Come on guys give a girl a chance, just think of it as sharing ideas. K I'm done

some guys are dumb, a girl that knows car is alot of guys dream, a girl with some screws working on a civic is a mojor turn on.
anyways, when i was suprised that u did the light yourself, i didnt mean it that u cant do it, it was just that i was under the impression that it is joes car and its not fair that u do all this work for him by yourself.

Well, i like it when i see a girl that knows alot about cars, like the others said, it's every guys' dream! he he.... i'm even trying to teach stuff to my gf! lol
First things first. It's OUR car, not Julians and not mine alone it's OUR car. Now that we have that straight..Player this thread was not intended for anyone special just for those who are willing to listen. Just got a little pissed how this guy treated me. Did i mention he is comming out tonight.
Freddy:Went to the hobbie store in Hull and they had this chrome sticker that was a perfect match. So fixed em, put em back together and they are ready to go. just have to find time to put them back on. As for the girlfriend just make her feel needed when you are fixing the car. Let her know that you really need her help. In a few months she will be a pro, well look like a pro with really dirty hands. Thats what Julian did to me and I love working on the car know.

Tofast4me-Don't even sweat this guy, he is so not worth the effort! He either is ignorant and or sexist. Although, being sexist and or ignorant is something that there just is no excuse for, just let it go, I'm sure you already have though anyway. I have never ran across a male that was dissatisfied with me working on my car, thay have always been pleased as punch for they are real men and not intimidated by my knowledge and hands all over my vic. They find it as most all the guys in here, EROTIC AS ALL GET THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY AND LET ME GET TO HER! This bloomin' friggin' idiot just wasn't a real man or man enough! at the carlisle cusotm compact show, right in the hotel aprking lot, i look over and see this amazing looking chick with her nails all done up and her hair all pretty and she was under the hood of her very own rhd silvia boosting amost 21 psi. she had done all the work herself. this thing was damn near fawless. she went on to do very well at the show and came in like 5th in the bikini contest. just thoguht it was cool. there are lots of girls that can work on cars here at school. it is a tech school and most of the girls i thought were in the nursing prgram or something, come to find out they are in automotive.
