Hey guys, I found a company that makes the rear brake conversion for the 2001 + Civic...
LilJoe: It's in your magazine that you brought a couple of weeks ago with the Celica on the cover and the K20 swap in the back...
The company is called Baer and their kit looks tough..It's supposed to be stronger than that of the SiR (sorry Tek) and lighter (sorry again Tek). Although it's likely a little more $$ than getting the parts off a totalled SiR it does present an interesting alternative.
Unfortunately there is no mention of it on the website yet but I'll leave the link for you anyway...
the sig looks goo dpharoh good job i wish i can do that heheheh even if i can id be too lazy to make one hahahah
those OZ rims are nice tek why dont u get for ur car hahahah must be expensive
Retail pricing for Honda Baer Claw Touring Systems start at $895.
Call the Baer technical sales staff at 602-233-1411 for more information.
that's USD.
I think I'll stick with my SiR brakes
plus, in the event that I get bigger rims for winter tires, I can just slam on some bigger discs and bigger calipers. I'd go for the AEM fronts first, though. You use the front more than the back!
Nice sig, btw!
1983: looked into it. It would have been $2500 shipped to my door with toyo proxes...
I opted for the cheap route ($1600) and spent the rest of the money on suspension goodies
Ya, it's me with the red "H" decal. Bought it of some dude on the site here. It cost me ~$10 or so for a pair of them.
Pharoh:
I just noticed that in that magazine last night. Although I'm still going to go with the SIR rear brakes. Might go to Montreal not this weekend but next.
Tek:
I'll have to talk to you some more about the brake conversion. I'll buy you a , and you can share a little of your wisdom.
