Well, after talking to Brian at Crower, we have come up with the ultimate all motor D17 stroker Kit. The prices here will be shown in sections and as a package. Take a look!
D17 Full Stroker Kit:
Crower Knife Edged Billet Crank (Fully custom to your specs or Crowers): $2999 CP pistons. Modified pin boss for longer rod, specify compression (7:1 - 14+:1) Currently out with 11:1: $699 MAXI-LIGHT 4340 STEEL BILLET RODS: $799
D17 Full Stroker Kit Package:
$4200 Shipped
Includes all of the above!
This is a very expensive kit but is THE ultimate build for the D17. As well, we are offering the Cam and Valvetrain which are in stock! You can check them out at this link
I wonder what the gains are, because if I had to take a guess, for 4200, the N/A gains arn't worth it. But that IS some mighty fine equipment. You guys never cease to amase me Eddie.
Oh man I didn't even see the part where it said "specify ratio" I only saw that it had 14 on it. That's why I didn't think you were marketing this for the boost crowd. I retract my previous statement. =)
Anyone get as sick of them giving out stats as much as I am...it gets a little ridiculous...."Ausmus is 4 for 10 against Garcia when the guy in section G, seat 5 drinks 5 beers, eats 3 hot dogs and goes to the pisser twice"..$hit.
You're probably almost guaranteed that you're going to need some sort of piggback ECU for this thing. Either an emanage or an AEM EMS. So, expect at least another $1000 for an ECU and then however much it's going to be for tuning. I'd say in total, you're probably looking at ~$6000 to build a D17.
D Series Squad is always being helped out here! Let us know, its a big package and im willing to do cost on the 1st person to purchase it as long as they give results of what has happen.
Think about it this way, the 7thgen is like the 96-00 civic of the day. Soon, more and more parts are going to come out to make it a serious buildable car like these have. so in time, more people will decide to build etc... why not be the first to set records
If I had the money n time now I would. Thanx for all your help eddie(its Hendrik). Im definatly gonna look into this when I do the turbo kit. Id love to be the first but my struts r shot so Im gonna redo my suspension first. Hopefuly within the next year Ill be running boost and possibly this stroker kit - the crank. Thank god people are starting to make more parts for the first 7thgen. Truehonda rocks
this is great...think boost, low compression pistons and the stage 2 turbo cams plus all the little extra goodies, that would be sick! anyways when i get the money im buyin this! btw whats d series squad?
