NEW PRODUCT!!!
B&M Short Throw Shifter for Acura RSX 02-UP (Including Type-S) & Honda Civic 01-Up (Except Si)
Note: Adjustable Throw Reduction of 25-35%.
B&M's Short Throw Manual Shifters are CAD-designed and engineered as direct bolt-in replacement shifters - only simple hand tools are required for installation! Working with some of the top domestic and import racers, B&M's engineers took what they learned in the real world racing environment and designed a professional grade shifter. By designing in key features that makes these shifters the absolutely best you can buy (such as a counter-balanced bottom end) and incorporating a CNC 6061-T6 billet aluminum bearing mount (with a trick aerospace polymer spherical bearing), B&M Short Throw Shifters have become the professional's choice. Threaded for use with both factory and aftermarket knobs, these shifters feature counter-balanced bottom ends for more precise shifts. Extremely tight tolerances and spherical, long lasting high performance bushings or pivot locations make B&M Short Throw Shifters the smoothest, most accurate shifters available. The CNC machined, super tough 303 billet stainless steel shafts provide the absolute best leverage and reduces shift throw! The perfect choice for the serious domestic or import car racer. And B&M offers you a limited lifetime warranty. If performance means everything to you, let B&M give you the edge!
so if you have this...what do you do with the original shift assembly? does this part totally replace that shift assembly? or are they use in conjuction?
That doesn't make sense. where does it mount to the car at? I mean look at the Revo shifter and then look at that one. Also, is this one better than the Revo shifter?
jodster... if it takes the place of the whole shift assembly, then i bet its better than the revo, cause it's all alluminum design. it will be a whole lot stiffer, which means less play when you shift. from what i know, its also adjustable, so you can adjust how much %age you want to shorten your shift.
the key question will be IS THIS SYSTEM GOING TO REPLACE THE SHIFT ASSEMBLY OR NOT, if so then i'm definitely getting one of em!
looks like you gut and reuse the base of your original shifter and install the B&M pieces in place of the og's and it comes with solid mount type bushings replacing the rubber ones.
Interesting
thanks for the pic Rob.

Correct, you do use the existing base, and this is also adjustable in the height and throw.
Originally posted by RobearRacing As for the other vendors whoring this out, please be assured that we are authorized dealers, and do uphold the warranty!
Also, i wil beat any vendors price on the board for this shifter!
This looks like a nice piece . Looks like everyone is trying to get a piece of the pie too [truehonda, nam...]
Just evaluating who I am considering buying from. I don't know if anyone else caught this:
TrueH $189 shipped
NAM $169.98 plus s&h
You $170.05 plus s&h [after discount]
NAM is $ .07 cheaper. Now if $.07 cheaper is whoring out, whoa there is some competition on this board.
