kenny I am assuming that your cell phone area code is 250, correct?
and again, we still need to get some ferry info done, i would like to see if I need reservations, but I definitely want to get coordinated as early as possible... at least let me know where I need to get off the ferry at and I can probably figure the rest out
we also need to figure out a meeting place for when I get off the ferry
I am reserved to come over at 9:55am from Horseshoe Bay (Vancouver) to Departure Bay (Nanaimo) on the Queen of Coquitlam. $17.50 to reserve, or you can take the cheap way out and risk not being able to get on
i can bring a fairly nice sized camping bbq and a small cooler as well, if you think it will help. if you want my bbq, let me know if i will need propane though, cuz i'll have to go pick up a small cylinder or something
also, what time do we figure this thing is going to start/end? I have some family on the island that I wouldn't mind visiting either before or after if there is time... I figure I will be on the last ferry out of departure bay which is at 9:25 or maybe I can head down to duke point and get on at 10:45 but it would be a bit more of a drive which aint that big a deal... but if you guys have any idea so i can get my shit organized that would be rad
also, who has a spare 2 way radio for me to use? my brother has a pair but he is camping and has them with him, so I am screwed as far as that goes
sorry couldn't be arsed to read the whole thread so where are you meeting? I hear I have to take a ferry? It's not in the Vancouver area? I haven't done much to my car except tint and lights lol should I come out anyway?
Mega, u can catch that 9:25 with hours to spare..... basically by the time we get to courtenay and down to the sand pit it'll be around 2, then its just bbq volleyball and catchin the rays. OH SAD NEWS my buddies down there aren't sure if we are allow BBQin' at the sand pit..... what do u guys think about dinnin at Boston Pizza afterwards?

absolutely, it's not a car show!! even if you are stock you are more than welcome to come, it's about cruising around and having fun, not looking cool (that is just a bonus )
if you want to come let me know and we can roll over together
just a warning, ferry is 43.25 for one car, one person (driver only) one way.. extra ppl are 10 bucks each, reservations if you want to majke sure you get on (which I got for myself) are 17.50
how long do you figure the cruise part of the day is going to be? even like 3 hours would be plenty, and still give us plenty of time for photoshoots (with the new camera I am buying just for the meet!!) and time to see the different places on the island... give it a couple hours for food/etc time and yeah I guess I have time to spare
boston pizza is cool with me though, lets try and find out for sure about the bbq pit thing first and if we cant do it there, maybe there is an area in close proximity where we would be allowed
ALRIGHT **** BOSTON PIZZA we GRILLLIN!!!! **** the laws, just have to clean up after ourselves...... mega can u bring ur portable grill, that way its less attraction while we are down there rather than the actually BBQ grill i had comin
i've had this grill for like a year and a half and still haven't used it, totally been looking for an excuse to!! it's awesome, alll aluminum, big (for a mini grill), rad design, just wait!!
