What are everyones plans for this summer? Is there going to be a meet? Anyone even care if we meet up a few times this summer? Just asking. You have to admit last year was pretty pathetic for member functions, and for meets. So what about it? Who's up for making sure that the 7thGenCivic.Com group in Edmonton is actually recognized as a club, instead of a passing fancy?

Rep Power: 0 That's too bad. I kinda liked the 7thgencivic.com decals on my car. Guess I don't need them anymore.

Rep Power: 277 yeah it's more of a passing fancy. arrrr i'm getting mad. the guy going to do my swap is putting me off and always says he's gonna call and never does. I got the money for my swap. what don't people understand? put engine in car = money in your pocket. i may be going to some meets this year with the car swapped and turboed. although i'm going to be tremendously busy with my wedding and new house being built.

Rep Power: 0 I'm going to refuse to live in anything wood frame built in the last 6yrs in Edmonton for the next little while. I've seen how fast those houses go up, its unnatural. Steel frame all the way...

Rep Power: 258 I am down for a meet, so long as it is worth it. If there are any cool shows this summer I think rolling in to them as a group makes it more fun instead of hanging in a parking lot with not much to say. Then we would have something to talk about. Cars, dirty women, etc. OR if there were other meets that had other car clubs present. That would be fun.

Rep Power: 0 Nice, throwing in the swap too eh? By the time you're done you're going to have a helluva bill, at least you'll have a helluva fast car though, it'll help you skip town when your creditors come a-knockin'

Rep Power: 277 haha well fort mcmurray from june-nov helped....a lot. this year is gonna be huge for me. car is getting done, getting married, and buying a new house. lots of money spent but well worth it. it sucks too i just found out today that my car needs a ton of touch ups after last weeks car wash. there must have been a bunch of dirt on the car wash hose and scratched the car up a ton. any one know how much it usually runs around? the hood might have to be completely repainted. oh yeah don't forget a cracked windshield.
either way i'll be at some meets this summer to show the car.

Rep Power: 0 Try some of these techniques:

Alternately, just try to have the scratches buffed out, I have seen down-to-white scratches buffed out, see if you can get any autobody place to give you an estimate/try.

Rep Power: 0 Use a fairly gritty polish, then a nice buff solution and that should do it. Need a high speed polisher/buffer tho.

Rep Power: 250 Hey guys - I'd def meet up in the summer for whatever. I drive an EL and don't really see lot of modded ones. I see alot of modded 7thgens though. When summer comes, I'd be in.
