Changes for the Upcomign Year

So just wonderig what everyone has in store for their rides.
1)just got crossdrilled/slotted rotors
2)just got a carbon fiber dash trim set which will go on after reading week
3)possibly some new rims
4)need to get actual full coilovers, not the cheap crap i had troubles with over the last two years

Whats everyone else getting/got? Any turbos or swaps in Alberta that anyone wants to share?

Heh, SHOW OFF!!

GAWD!! Yer car is gonna be killer. I can't wait to see it this summer. By the way, speaking of cars, when I get the paper from Master Appraisals, how long do you guys think it will take to get the car done? I will have a rental for 2 to 3 weeks.

Quote for the day:
"If yer car ain't rockin', it better be rollin'."

Sounds good. Hey, let me know if you want to go for a coffee this weekend, and we can put a strategy together. I figured out what will and won't be done, so could provide some help for the things we chatted about.

Just curious, is the MOMO Steering wheel the breakway street version? If so, how do you get around the airbag issue?

i swear i've been so god damn busy lately, their's like not enough hours in the day for me or something, but just come see me on monday and we'll talk about it, actually tuesday, monday i'll only be there for 1 hr from 1130-1230 to meet a client.

and the airbag issue, the airbag comes out, and i have to disingage the airbag led so it doesn't show on my dash.

Isn't it just a simple resistor mod? You just plug the thing into the harness.

Not as far as I know, but, then again I haven't had much experience with the airbag systems yet. All I know is if you pull the fuse, be prepared to spend 2 grand a side for replacements.

Chris, I think you should take spelling lessons for the UPCOMING year.

But seriously, if you want my K&N SRI and the DC Sports Headers, they're yours Chris, provided I get some good coin in return...

My only plan other than graduating in April, is that I may be getting an RSX Type-S in March... cross your fingers....

Chris, that is pretty serious for something like that to happen in Lethbridge... most vehicles here don't end up with as much damage as yours did.

Damn that sucks, but there aren't a lot of places here they can use to sell the stuff. I'll check out my sources to get a heads up on your stuff. I mean, we only have one pawn shop here and a handful of installers who sell used stuff. I'll see what I can do...

thanks clem but no audio was stolen just my deck ****ed fromt he idiots trying to get it and the surrounding plastic on my dash, if i see anyone wearing the leather jacket(uncommon style) hes gonna get punched first and questions later, like i said im just glad they didnt get to my trunk, the damage isnt actually that bad, when my sisters car was broken into the tires were slashed, car keyed and her interior was trashed, i only have a small dent on the trunk, the roof carpet with 2 like 1 inch gashes and the deck area so things couldve been worse, and luckily i can rpelace the jacket, i got the last size of it in alberta so theres been some good news to all this, and im sure it was some high school/jr high kids during theyre break because the cops said there was a huge amount of car break ins with windows smashed and some not smashed, im still nto sure how they got in because my alarm wasnt cut and theres no signs of damage

and to add im pissed off about the lack of effort by the cops here, in calgary my sisters car was broken into and they had the crime lab fingerprinting it and they caught the guy(he got caught 2 weeks later doing another car) and his prints tied him to my sisters car, the cops here didnt even look at my car, like sure theres a small chance the cops would find them but when i see them driving around doing **** all 24/7 it pisses me off they cant even lok into it with my car, these are the same cops that let a hit and run person getaway because there wasnt too much damage done to the other car(i witnessed it and followed the truck calling police) grrrrrrr(sorry i needed to vent)

We don't have cops here in Lethbridge. Just radar gun specialists, donut tasters, and administrative assistants to the Chief of Police. j/k

Seriously though, I'm surprised they haven't been too accomodating...
